Georgetown Falls To Hopkins, Maryland To Loyola, Duke To Jax & More (LaxFactor Podcast #238)

Friday night lacrosse was totally dwarfed by Saturday’s absolute chaos as we saw numerous updates, plenty of unexpected outcomes mixed with some butt kickings. What started as a slate of games that didn’t expect to be all that exciting ended up being the opposite with upsets galore. We saw #3 Georgetown fall to Johns Hopkins by a goal in my favorite upset of the weekend, but Loyola beating #2 Maryland by a margin wasn't bad either. Jacksonville was playing a "must win game" in early February and managed to beat Duke for the second straight season. Michigan stuck with Virginia for far longer than I expected them to on Saturday only losing by a four goal spread. Friday night Syracuse and North Carolina each waxed their opponents in Albany and Mercer.  Duke was the only ACC team that didn't pick up a win this weekend.
