Georgia Defense Dominates With Turnovers | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Georgia’s defense turned heads with a dominant turnover performance against Western Kentucky, forcing four takeaways—including two interceptions and two fumbles—after going zero for the season opener. The energy started on the opening kickoff when AJ Kruah forced a fumble, setting the tone for a gritty, opportunistic game. Players like Demello Jones, Khamari Brooks, and freshman Tyriq Green (who scored a fumble-return TD and a kick return TD) delivered standout plays, showcasing both veteran leadership and rising talent. With turnovers now a priority after last week’s drought, the Bulldogs proved they’re committed to making them a consistent weapon—and they’re already eyeing next week’s challenge.
