Georgia Football Staff & Roster Shifts | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Georgia football’s 2026 media guide drops big news: David Cooper and Jay Chapman are out, marking major staff shakeups after years of service. Roster moves include Dontrell Glover switching from 63 to 58 — a nod to his impact as a freshman starter. Four freshmen get their numbers: Justice Fitzpatrick (6), Nick Peal (30), Tre Shields (86), and Colton Dermer (50). The broadcast booth gets a fresh voice with Jeff Dantzler taking over play-by-play, joined by Jon Stinchcomb, while David Johnston joins Kevin Butler on pre- and postgame shows. And in a coaching twist, Brandon Streeter steps into the quarterbacks coach role — working alongside the offensive coordinator. Big changes as the Dawgs gear up for the next chapter.
