Georgia Lands Top DB Adryan Cole | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Georgia just pulled off a major recruiting coup with the commitment of Adryan Cole, a four-star defensive back from Douglasville, Georgia, who’s set to join the 2027 class. Standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 190 pounds, Cole chose the Bulldogs over elite offers from Florida, LSU, and Ole Miss — making him the first DB to commit for that cycle. His decision vaults Georgia’s class to 19 players and bumps their national ranking from 14th to 11th, ahead of teams like Ole Miss and Clemson. A standout junior with 69 tackles, 4 pass breakups, and an interception, Cole is ranked 27th nationally at his position and 26th in Georgia. Scouts rave about his athleticism, speed, and versatility — projecting him as a potential Power Four starter. For Cole, it was Georgia’s culture, relationships, and growth opportunities that sealed the deal — he felt genuinely wanted and ready to compete at the highest level.
