Georgia Lands Top Shooting Guard | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Georgia just snagged a major recruiting win with four-star shooting guard Justin Wise committing to the 2027 class — the first player to pledge under head coach Mike White. Ranked No. 5 among shooting guards nationally, Wise chose Georgia over big-name programs like Miami, Tennessee, and Texas after an official visit that gave him a real feel for their fast-paced, three-point-heavy offense. Standing 6-foot-4 and college-ready, he’s seen as a versatile guard who can handle the ball and fit right into their system. While staying close to home was a bonus, his main focus? Winning and playing for a program that truly wants him. This early commitment sets a strong tone for Georgia’s future recruiting and signals they’re serious contenders for top talent.
