Georgia Lines is coming off the back of a successful 2022- her EP 'Human' debuted at Number 1 on the charts, and she was named Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Aotearoa Music Awards. She describes her recent streak of success as a 'long journey', having been trying to make it in music for years. "I still feel like I'm just starting out, I'm just finding my feet as an artist and gaining some sort of traction. But, you know, feeling a sense of- oh, I'm doing a good job.
