Georgia Pays Big to Host WKU | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Georgia Bulldogs roll into their showdown with Western Kentucky in a high-stakes, high-payoff matchup — the Hilltoppers get a cool $1.9 million to play at Sanford Stadium, despite just getting crushed 49-14 by Nevada. It’s a far cry from Tennessee State’s $600K payday last week, and while Georgia is heavily favored in their all-white uniforms, coach Kirby Smart gave props to WKU’s coach for building a winning program through the transfer portal. With kickoff set for Saturday at 12:45 PM ET, this could be the game that proves whether WKU can still deliver a surprise — or if Georgia’s cash is just buying another blowout.
