Georgia Southern Upsets Arkansas State

Georgia Southerns mens basketball team stuns Arkansas State with an 80-77 upset in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, ending a long winless streak against twenty-win teams. The Eagles, with an 18-15 record, led by Tyren Moores 25 points and seven 3-pointers, shot a season-high 90% from the free-throw line and made 14 3-pointers overall. Despite Arkansas States 11-0 run in the second half, Georgia Southerns defense and Moores game-sealing 3-pointer secured their spot in the fourth round against South Alabama.
