Georgia Star Walks Away After Arrest | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Xzavier McLeod, former Georgia football player, was arrested after allegedly smashing his wife’s car mirrors and jumping on the hood during a heated argument — she recorded him admitting to the damage. Police responded after she reported fearing for her safety; he was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass and property damage related to family violence, released on a $9 bond. The incident, which occurred in late August, has led to his immediate departure from the team, though he plans to graduate. Coach Kirby Smart said McLeod hadn’t practiced since early camp and respected his decision to walk away — a bittersweet end to his collegiate journey.
