Georgia Stays Strong as Texas Surges | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

College football exploded this past weekend with wild upsets and record-breaking performances. Texas stunned Ohio State in a 24-23 thriller, catapulting to the No. 1 spot in the AP Top 25 while knocking the Buckeyes down to No. 6. Meanwhile, Georgia stayed firmly at No. 2 after demolishing Western Kentucky 70-20, showcasing their unstoppable offense and national scoring dominance. With six SEC teams now ranked in the top 10, the conference is dominating the season. Georgia’s next big test? A noon ET showdown against Arkansas on September 19th — and if they win, they could be closing in on that coveted No. 1 ranking. The SEC’s fire is only getting hotter.
