Georgia vs Florida State in Nashville

Georgia and Florida State are set to clash in a high-stakes neutral site showdown at Nissan Stadium in Nashville in 2028, part of Georgia’s strategic move to preserve home game slots amid a new nine-game conference schedule. Athletic director Josh Brooks reveals the Bulldogs are creatively partnering with FSU—similar to their longstanding Florida rivalry—to balance conference play with lucrative non-conference matchups. This tradition, which includes rotating venues like Jacksonville, Atlanta, and Tampa, brings in revenue and delivers spectacle for fans. Though the two teams last met in 1965 and haven’t played regularly since, their 2019 agreement ensures future matchups. With playoff implications and fan demand driving the trend, coaches like Kirby Smart see these marquee games as here to stay. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
