Georgia's Edge Rushers Rise | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Georgia’s pass rush struggled last season with just twenty sacks, but the coaching staff sees promise in the growth of young edge rushers like Quintavius Johnson and Gabe Harris. Johnson, making his first full-time start, posted career highs and showed steady development, finishing with 35 tackles, 6 TFLs, 2 sacks, and 5 pass break-ups. Harris, also learning on the fly, is expected to lead the charge alongside rising talent like Chase Linton, who’s been a disruptive force at outside linebacker. With depth at defensive end and new inside linebacker additions, Georgia aims to turn potential into pressure and sacks in 2026.
