Get in Step with the Spirit

Today, Bishop continues to teach from Galatians 5:24-26  on walking in step with the Holy Spirit. Sinful human desires and the Holy Spirit oppose each other. Those who belong to Christ have victory over the sinful desires. Freedom from lust and evil imaginations is only possible through spiritual worship of Jesus Christ. Each believer is to "keep in step" (John 3:5-6) with the Spirit, as an exhortation to obedience. We bear fruit when we are in step with the Holy Spirit. It is dangerous to fall behind or get in front of God. In step refers to conforming to the Spirit's direction and enablement. There are three problems we face in church that will cause us to not be in step in Christ. Problems are: (1) conceit, (2) provoking one another, and (3) envying. As believers, we need to make a point to learn to march (stay in step) with the Holy Spirit. We pray this message gives you a deeper understanding of the importance of staying in step with God.
