At the end of the 9th chapter of Mark’s Gospel Jesus answers one of the disciples questions concerning the casting out of evil. Apparently, they were uncomfortable with someone exerting healing power through unsanctioned channels. Jesus’ response to his disciples question may help us know how to partner with others outside of churches who do life-giving work.
