These same houses served their purpose through time providing shelter to several generations of families. Some of these centurion houses were more than just a residence but a safe place, a home where memories were made for their occupants that are long gone. With time, people pass away but the houses remain. Many endure time through renovations, elements and still stand on the streets of Winnipeg today. However it’s not hard to believe how these cherished homes still contain the energy…..the essence of these former lives and it’s very possible that these departed spirits, return. But whose house is it then? The Living or the Dead? Energy ……..always returns.
