Growing up in Paoli, Pennsylvania and attending Conestoga High School where he scored 56 goals his senior year, Donovan would go on to play his collegiate soccer at Drexel University @DrexelUniv suiting up for the Drexel Dragons Mens Soccer Team @DrexelDragonsTV @reddrexeldragon. Donovan would later be drafted by the Columbus Crew @ColumbusCrew with the 68th pick overall & eventually find his way to his hometown club, the Philadelphia Union.
