Gay Veale is a retired Air Force veteran and a passionate loan officer based in Colorado Springs. After serving her country, Gay transitioned into the mortgage industry with a mission to serve her fellow veterans by helping them use their VA home loan benefits to their fullest potential.Motivated by a desire to make a real impact, Gay left the defense contracting world to become a loan officer—despite her initial hesitation about entering a sales-driven profession. What she discovered was a calling: empowering veterans with education, advocacy, and ethical lending practices. From her first VA refinance during the boom, Gay has been driven by a singular purpose—to ensure veterans are not taken advantage of in a complex and often predatory lending environment.Gay is a core member of Vetted VA, where she holds the distinguished rank of VA7, a top-tier leadership position recognizing her commitment to education, support, and integrity in serving veterans. Through Vetted VA, she not only provides direct assistance but also teaches veterans, agents, and other lenders about the intricacies of the VA loan system.
