When you get to the table, you get to bring up key agenda items. Important issues that you're passionate about, and that you know need addressing right now. Senator Jenny McAllister has seen this first hand: especially serving as a Labor Senator for NSW since 2015. She discusses the impact of quotas on politics, and so much more. Particularly looking at how getting more women to the decision-making table gets more issues impacting women heard. There’s no uniform or singular way that women lead differently to men, it’s more that having gender equality in an organisation means there is space for women to adopt all sort of different leadership styles, she says.
