One of the coolest things about the majors, is they allow non-touring pros to participate. We have amateurs in the Master and the British Open, we have PGA Club Pros in the PGA and we have anyone who can qualify through the USGA system play in the US Open. It is so amazing! I wonder and worry about these players the most, but the opportunity they have to learn their game and get rapidly better is unparalleled.  Getting better at golf can be greatly increased through tournament play if you do it the right way.
