Get Wisdom Proverbs 8:1 Wisdom Is Calling!

Have you ever called someone and they didn’t pick up the phone? You had something good to say, and they just didn’t answer the phone! This can be so frustrating. Let’s continue our treasure hunt through Proverbs to get wisdom. Proverbs 8:1 says this: “Does not wisdom call? Does not understanding raise her voice?” When I think about that, it’s like Wisdom is calling you on the phone. Wisdom is calling! Will you answer? She’s saying: “To you, O men, I call, and my cry is to the children of man. O simple ones, learn prudence; O fools, learn sense. Hear, for I will speak noble things, and from my lips will come what is right, for my mouth will utter truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips,” (Proverbs 8:4-7). She’s saying, “I have good things to say! I will speak truth to you!” Wisdom is calling out for you, and you need to hear. She wants to lead and teach you, and reading the book of Proverbs is a great way to hear her. The Bible tells us that even God used wisdom in creating the world, so we need to listen to wisdom!
