Get Your Kicks (two)

On Route 66!! I have wanted to do this road trip for so so so long. And one day I will =) In the meantime, here’s a great start to the list of attractions you could stop and see, in large cities and small towns, from the Bean in Chicago to a leaning water tower in Texas and all the way to the Santa Monica Pier in California. Pick a reliable vehicle that doesn’t mind the heat, and get to driving! What an incredible way to make your way across 2/3 of the US. - Production Note: There was an approximately two-minute internet service interruption during the live broadcast (bummer!) that I did not immediately notice, which means that some of the info is missing. This also caused the episode to be split into two seemingly independent parts. They are not; they’re just the before and after the interruption.
