In 1967 he transferred to Ladder 102 and then to Rescue 4 in 1973. He was promoted to Lt. in 1977 and worked in Ladder 168 before being assigned to Rescue 2 at the end of 1977. He was promoted to Capt in 1981 working in Engine 294 (1Yr) and then Engine 290 (2Yrs) before being assigned to Ladder 120 in 1984. He retired in 1988.
