Getting from Here to There - 1-3-21

Welcome again saints to the first Sunday of a new year. Thank God for effectual and fervent prayer!!! Our texts today are from Hab 2.1-4 and 1Cor 11.23-28 from the thought "Getting from Here to There." Blessings and Happy New Year!1. Learn the plan God has for you and write it down (vs. 2)God has the plans for us (Jeremiah 29:11). Setting plans without God is like building a house with neither blueprint nor foundation. Tune in to Jesus daily to get in step with Him and to stay on the right course. What is distracting us, interfering with our ability to tune in and hear from God? Don’t lose the signal!2. Continue steadfastly towards your destination no matter what (vs3)Keep moving towards your destination! Do the hard work first! Celebrate! But keep going to the destination! Take one step at a time toward the direction that God has for you! Don't give up! Don’t give out! Don’t quit!3. Walk faithfully by living a life of uncompromising integrity (vs4)Hallelujah saints! We don't have to compromise! We can give our best and we should give our best because we work and live for God! We preach the gospel by the way we live every day! Let us resolve to serve, walk with and follow God so that we can move from here to there (where God wants us to go!)
