Getting Out of the Boat

In this message, we look at another encounter the disciples had with a storm…only this time Jesus was not in the boat. After witnessing the feeding of the 5,000, Jesus made the disciples get in a boat and cross over the Sea of Galilee. During the night, they were hit with a storm, and then hit with fear when they saw Jesus walking on the water to them. In an attempt to authenticate who Jesus is, Peter actually walked on water. In those moments, his bold move evidenced both faith and doubt at the same time. Aren’t we often the same?
