Getting the Gospel Wrong

from The Lovesick Scribe Podcast · host Dawn Hill

The significance of the gospel of Jesus Christ cannot be overstated. If the true gospel is not proclaimed and if personal experience along with extrabiblical revelation takes precedence for understanding salvation, then there is a real danger of another gospel and another Christ being proclaimed to others. This is no small issue. This is an eternity issue, and the gospel matters. It is a matter of life and death. What happens when popular individuals in particular spheres of influence are talking about seeing portals where loved ones in heaven pray for the salvation of loved ones on earth? What is said of claims that we can declare salvation for our household with the power of our own words? We are going to be looking at this today along with what the gospel truly is from a Biblical perspective.  Getting the gospel right is crucial.  Voddie Baucham: The Gospel of Redemption  https://youtu.be/F9tNrVDcan0?t=4 Kat Kerr: Will I Be Sad if My Loved Ones Aren't in Heaven?  https://youtu.be/tVfvGxTuJIQ?t=6              Declare Salvation to Your Loved Ones  https://youtu.be/EhO34q3xtC4?t=3 Brenda Kunneman: https://youtu.be/jaq0HI4t4mg?t=17  What does the Bible say about household salvation? | GotQuestions.org Is there any scriptural basis for praying on behalf of the unsaved? | GotQuestions.org Subscribe to my blog at lovesickscribe.com Find me on Facebook and Instagram (Lovesick Scribe) If you enjoy this podcast, please comment or leave a 5-star review.
