Getting the Trinity Right: Interview with Kyle Claunch

In this episode, Grant Castleberry sits down with Dr. Kyle Claunch (Associate Professor of Christian Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and elder at Kenwood Baptist Church) for a rich conversation on the doctrine of God and why it matters for every believer. Together they discuss the Trinity, the importance of precise language about God, and key theological truths such as aseity (God’s absolute independence) and divine simplicity. More than abstract theology, this episode shows how knowing God rightly fuels worship, deepens discipleship, and brings real comfort to the Christian life—even in struggles like anxiety.
