Getting to Know Tim Glemkowski (The Tim Glemkowski Show)

from The Best of the Week · host Relevant Radio

At the end of his first week hosting The Tim Glemkowski Show on Relevant Radio, Tim let listeners get to know him a little better in a lighthearted exchange with producer Gavin. When asked to name his Catholic hero, Tim did not hesitate: Pope Saint John Paul II. He pointed to both the saint’s papacy and the witness of his life as a model of greatness and holiness. The conversation then turned to family. Tim shared that the names of his children each carry meaning. Eva, he explained, was inspired by a Marian prayer and means life. Theodore means gift of God. Charlie was chosen in part because of Tim’s love for Pope Saint John Paul II, whose birth name was Karol Wojtyła. Veronica, he said, was tied to a sense that her life would somehow reflect the face of God to others. The final question was simpler, but no less important: favorite breakfast food. Tim’s answer was as hearty as you might expect. In Colorado, he said, breakfast burritos and green chili are a big deal, but his personal favorite is a skillet with hash browns, eggs over medium, and a little meat on the side. It was a joyful close to a strong first week, full of gratitude, humor, and a reminder that behind every microphone is a person trying to follow God faithfully in ordinary life.
