Getting to Work on the Church

1 Timothy 1:1-11 | Building a Healthy Church | Trent Hunter Paul tells us why he wrote to Timothy in 3:14–15: "I am writing these things to you so that, if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth." Paul can't be there, and so it's on Timothy to shepherd the church at Ephesus to health. That will involve a variety of things, and all of it as much for us today as for Timothy and the first century church.
