Ghana E-Levy Passed: The Final Whistle & What Next? | PodBites Ep. 21

Tuesday 29th March was a bittersweet day Ghanaian Citizen. Ghana qualified for the World Cup 2022 and had the upper hand in the classic Jollof  Derby.  They also  celebrated the birthday of the President of the Republic of Ghana, none other than H.E Nana Akuffo-Addo.  On this same day, the E-levy was passed. The Tax levy was recently reduced from 1.75% to 1.5%. There were hopes this would eventually be reduced to 0%. Others hoped this E-levy would get approved, which has been the eventuality.
