Ghana Hold Wales in First Game Under Carlos Queiroz

Ghana ended a run of five straight defeats with a 1-1 draw against Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium. In his first match as Black Stars head coach, Carlos Queiroz saw his side show improved signs, especially in the second half. Substitute Caleb Yirenkyi gave Ghana the lead before Wales equalised late on, extending the Black Stars’ winless run. After the game, Queiroz assessed his team’s performance as preparations continue toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup
