Ghetto Informant Program "GIP"

 The Ghetto Informant Program (GIP) was an intelligence-gathering operation run by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from 1967 to 1973.  After the Watts Riots of 1965, and further unrest in Newark and Detroit in the summer of 1967, the US government mobilized to prepare for urban conflict. You heard the term, snitches get stitiches! Well there were some snitches in the ghetto. They were FBI informants. Some of the strauma and struggles in the American Africans communities are because of distrust. "Black cannot get along" they say goes way back, in dealing with infiltration of others including the FBI and other prominnant figures in history. and this has long-term consequences for these communities, by desgn I might add. You see the war on drugs was never about the drugs. The drugs were a byproduct sent into the communities of color purposely to wreak havoc, secretly allowing slaughter and murderous gangs then referred to as 'black on black crime.' Which inundated the nightly news. It was the crooked local and federal police and FBI behind the entire operation. Anxiety can trigger depression and other behavioral, physical, and mental health issues.
