Ghouls Do Nepal
from The Climate Discussion Nexus
John Robson comments on key items from the latest Climate Discussion Nexus weekly "Wednesday Wakeup" newsletter (https://climatediscussionnexus.com/newsletter/), starting with media and activist vultures swooping on tragedy in Nepal to say they don't know what happened but they know it was due to climate change, and claiming such things have become more frequent with no evidence whatsoever, plus more evidence that Canada's international green man of mystery, now Prime Minister, Mark Carney is still a climate zealot with a foggy mind, and MSN inventing mass flight of rich people from vast climate-change-created wastelands, claims that some new discovery upset everything scientists thought about megalodon for 190 years without mentioning that ocean science might be unsettled on climate and media raving about record wildfires in the face of clear contrary data because they have a model, and wrapping up with an installment in our #CanaryInAClimateWorld series on Will Happer on the lamentable politicization of climate science, Tony Heller noting that Greenland is gaining ice, and the impact of more atmospheric CO2 on Japanese larch which, for once, is a larch and is from Japan.
