Kate was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in July 2020. She had been experiencing symptoms for about a year and eventually brought them up to her PCP which were largely ignored. She finally went in for a colonoscopy in July 2020 and a tumor was found.  Kate has been in treatment for about a year. She has gone through 12 rounds of chemotherapy, 30 rounds if radiation, and had various surgeries.  She finished her treatment on July 24th and as of now, she is cancer-free.
