Giants Could Be This Year’s Patriots

The Giants enter the season with a stunningly similar setup to the Patriots team that made a massive leap behind Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel. Jaxson Dart’s rookie numbers closely mirror Maye’s, while John Harbaugh gives New York the accomplished veteran coach that could accelerate the turnaround. The argument is simple: if New England could make that jump, why can’t the Giants? The biggest warning is the defense. New York’s run defense was among the league’s worst, and unless that changes, the quarterback development and upgraded roster may not matter. The pass rush offers real upside, but stopping the run could determine whether this Giants season becomes a surprise or another disappointment.
