She was diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM)—a rare and often devastating form of heart failure that strikes new mothers.   Her battle ultimately led her to the ultimate gift—a life-saving heart transplant in 2024. But Monica’s story is more than survival. It’s about resilience, faith, and purpose.
