Yin Myo-Flores works as a substitute teacher & leads mindfulness meditation & yoga classes. Shortly after the civil rights movement & uprising of 1988 in Myanmar, Yin’s dad won the immigration lottery. With the hope of a better future for younger generations, her dad sank ships in home country & journeyed forward to a new, strange land.
