                     I  CORINTHIANS 12:10   THE GIFT OF WORKING OF MIRACLES Most people put the working of miracles and the gifts of healings in the same category. Healing is a work God does in your body to bring it back into health. A miracle takes you over into the creative power of God. Understanding the difference can really help in how we minister to people. A miracle is a supernatural intervention in the ordinary course of nature, a temporary suspension of the accustomed order through the Spirit of God. Just shows up as the Spirit wills. OLD TESTAMENT EXAMPLES: Exodus 7-14 All the plagues God put on Egypt through Moses. Water became blood – Frogs – Lice – Flies - Livestock disease – Boils – Hail – Locusts – Darkness – Death to the first born of Egypt.  Exodus 14:21-22 Moses divided the Red Sea. Two gifts in operation here, gift of miracles and Faith II Kings 1:10-12 Elijah called down fire from heaven. II Kings 4:1-7 Elisha and the widow’s oil. Judges 16:1-3 Samson used in gift of miracles even if he had character flaws.NEW TESTAMENT EXAMPLES: John 2:1-11 Water to wine with just six words. John 6:5-14 Jesus feed five thousand with a little boy’s lunch. 12 baskets of leftovers. John 6:15-21 Jesus walks on water – Boat an all passengers transported to land. A FEW OF THE TINGS I HAVE SEEN GOD DO: INDIA -  feed thousands of people two nights in a row. Eighteen year old boy received his sight – at least two gifts in operation here.Orphanage worker received instant miracle healing from stroke and heart attack. PHILIPPINES – seen the Lord heal three blind people instantly – four deaf people now hearing. Nineteen year old deaf mute instantly healed in 2017.
