On January 21, 1990, 26‑year‑old Teryl Orcutt left her boyfriend's house in Jacksonville and headed home to Middleburg, Florida. She never arrived. Her red Thunderbird was found abandoned on County Road 218 — engine still running, her purse and belongings untouched inside, but Teryl gone. A week later, her body was discovered in a wooded area just a few miles away.
