Girl, Interrupted with Mimi Stringfield
from The Queer Quadrant
Jordan and Brooke are joined by writer Mimi Stringfield for 1999's edgy drama, forever immortalized in desaturated Tumblr gifs. Mimi gives some great context from the original memoir, we discuss that Winona / Angie pairing (and the infamous kiss), mount a defense for "teen girl" movies to be taken seriously, and do our best rousing rendition of "Downtown."
