S5 Ep 94: I saw a post on Facebook that said, “You meet ur 18-year-old self. Ur allowed to say 3 words. What do you say?” In this episode, “Girl, just leave.” are the three words that I’d tell myself 18-year old self and I share my thoughts on things that if I could hit the re-set button on, I’m talking about college experiences, the lack of financial literacy within the black community growing up and the consequences of choices. Girl just leave, is a declaration to release anything, any person, relationship, any fears, doubts, ideas or thoughts that aren’t of your own, that may have been projected on you and now who and where you are in life, those things no longer serves you nor the best interest in reaching your greater self.
