Brimberry explains how ACIM works with Law Enforcement agencies nationwide to help locate missing people – particularly children, adults with dementia, and people with mental disabilities. A Child is Missing can send alerts to 1000 homes within 60 seconds of receiving information from police about a missing person, and can target the local area for greatest effectiveness. The non-profit’s funding was cut from the new Florida state budget, so A Child is Missing is asking for support from the Community to enable them to continue their work. http://www.achildismissing.org
