El nuevo trabajo de Curtis Harding abre esta edición del Giroscopio -If Words Were Flowers-, el esperado tercer nuevo trabajo de uno de los grandes de la escena soul actual. El sello de Brooklyn Daptone Records celebra sus 20 años en la escena del soul con el lanzamiento de un triple lp que contiene las grabaciones de un concierto donde reunieron a parte de la familia Daptone: Sharon Jones y sus Gap Kings, Charles Bradley, The Budos Band, Antibalas,.... En el Teatro Apollo del Harlem de New York en diciembre de 2014. La banda catalana The Excitements acaban de publicar su cuarto trabajo con una nueva voz, la somalí Kissia San. Koko-Jeans Davis debuta después de dejar a los The Excitements con un larga duración, Koko-Jean and The Tonics. Otro disco del que nos hacemos eco en esta edición del Giroscopio es el de Acantha Lang, desde Londres, con un EP debut. También escuchamos a Adrian Quesada junto a Aaron Frazer y cerramos con el recuerdo de un tema de Eddie Floyd y The Sweet Inspirations.
