Giroscopio :: Young, Bowie, Springsteen, Dylan & Knopfler Sesión de clásicos esta semana en el Giroscopio. Clásicos muy actuales porque repasamos algunas de sus más recientes publicaciones: el cuadragésimo primer álbum de estudio del canadiense Neil Young acompañado de sus Crazy Horses en -Barn-. Se publica en estos días -Toy-, un conjunto de canciones que David Bowie grabó en el año 2000 y que no ha visto la luz hasta ahora. Se trata de la reprobación de canciones del Bowie entre el 67 y el 71. Canciones que si bien podrían pasar inadvertidas, ahora se realzan en estas nuevas recreaciones. No entendemos porqué quedaron aparcadas, cosas de los genios. Bruce Springsteen publica un concierto: -The Legendary No Nukes- 21 y 22 de septiembre de 1979 en el mítico Madison Square Garden de New York. Allí se reunieron para protestar por el crecimiento de la energía nuclear. La actuación del "Jefe" en estos 90 minutos fue excepcional, no solo él, La Banda también estuvo a la altura. Una de las mejores bandas de rock del momento. Otro genio, Bob Dylan publica una nueva edición de sus The Bootleg Series, en esta ocasión Vol.16: -Springtime in New York- con grabaciones que tuvieron lugar entre 1980 y 1985. Material inédito y tomas distintas a las finalmente publicadas. Cerramos esta edición del Giroscopio con el maestro Mark Knopfler que ha publicado una caja con sus primeros discos en solitario, los comprendidos entre 1996 y 2007 además de un extra -Gravy Train: The B-Sides- con caras B de singles de esos mismos años.
