Speaker: Pastor NickSynopsis: Today we begin to wrap up our Lent series "Give" where we have been discussing intentionally giving up specific patterns in our lives to honor God (ie: control & complaining). This morning we focus on the final component of our Lent fast: The Rush. How can we live both a "hurried" life and a "peaceful" life? We'll look at the story of Mary and Martha and discuss the ways that rushing has infiltrated our culture. But the conclusion is this: we NEED to exchange the hurried for the purposeful.
