Give Local Greater Waterbury and Litchfield Hills

Many of our community nonprofits who provide vital services are experiencing the direct or indirect effects of federal funding cuts, making this year’s effort even more important than ever. For people who are searching for 'something to do' - supporting local nonprofits is a great way to make a positive impact on our communities. What is Give Local Greater Waterbury and Litchfield Hills? Give Local is a local, online 36 hour-give-a-thon that enables thousands of donors to contribute to over 300 local nonprofit organizations throughout Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills. Give Local is hosted and managed by Connecticut Community Foundation. Last year, Give Local raised $2.1 million for 311 local non-profits in our region. This year we are hoping to raise even more! Donors can make donations at www.GiveLocalCCF.org starting at 7 a.m. on April 29 through 7 p.m. on April 30.
