Give Thanks Part 1

The Bible calls us to be continually thankful to God and for good reason. First of all we have a lot to be grateful for. Second our level of gratitude toward God is a direct reflection of our spiritual health. Our gratitude toward God reveals, where our heart is, what our devotional life is like, and how important the gospel is to us. Those who are closest to God are those who are the most thankful. As Karl Graustein says "Thankfulness flows out of a heart that is rooted in Christ. If Christ is the Lord of our lives, we will live in Him, be built up in Him, and be strengthened in Him. Ultimately we will find ourselves overflowing with thankfulness to Him for all that He has done on our behalf. Listen to this week's message.
