Giving People the Opportunity to Excel with Collettey's Cookies

When you give people the opportunity to pursue something they excel at, it can change their lives.   In honor of Disability Pride Month, we're celebrating Collette Divitto, a young woman with Down Syndrome who founded her own company, Collettey's Cookies. Collette was struggling with her school's curriculum, but when she took an elective baking class, everything changed. She was talented, enthusiastic, and eager to help others, much to the admiration of her teacher. As her skill and passion grew, Collette began developing her own original cookie recipes that wowed friends and family.   Collette along with her mom Rosemary, founded Collettey's Cookies with the goal of showing the world that differently abled people are incredibly capable of doing amazing things. On top of a thriving cookie business, Collette has authored a book, traveled the country making public appearances, and even started a non-profit organization, Collettey's Leadership.    Collette is a remarkable young entrepreneur with an incredibly inspiring story.
