#GivingTuesday 2020 - Melissa Maki from 31 Backpacks

This podcast is a part of our Giving Tuesday series and today we talked with Melissa Maki from 31 Backpacks. 31 Backpacks is a 100% volunteer-based organization that provides food for at risk youth in Houghton, Keweenaw, and Baraga Counties. This year they have had a jump from helping 225 kids to over 2100. Families have seen a lot of financial hardships this year but 31 Backpacks continues to provide support and supplies for the youth of our community.
