Looking at Romans 12 and Acts 2, we see that discipleship doesn’t happen by accident. Conformity is the default—but transformation requires a decision. What we give our attention to is what forms us, and in a world driven by distraction and algorithms, that matters more than ever. This isn’t about trying harder or performing better. It’s about surrender, intentionality, and allowing the Holy Spirit to do the transforming work in us. At some point, discipleship stops being an invitation… and becomes a decision.
