Glinda of Oz Chapter 21 - The Three Adepts

In which Glinda the Good, upon meeting three mysterious maidens who reveal themselves as former Adepts transformed into fishes, contemplates a plan to overcome an enchantment that has sunk an island beneath a lake. With the inventive suggestion of a lively Patchwork Girl, they consider lowering the water level to access the sunken village, combining wisdom and whimsy in hope of rescuing their friends.
